After a good opening at Box-Office, Student Of The Year had an outstanding first week.

The much hyped movie of 2012 Student Of The Year starring Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Malhotra collects a whooping 51 crores in its first week at Domestic Box-Office. The movie hit over 1400 screens on 19th October collected 31 crores in first weekend adding 21 crores on weekdays. The collection of film went down by 50% on weekdays but easily collected a decent 21 crores.

   Here is the detail of first week collections:

    Day 1 (Friday) – 9.25 crore
    Day 2 (Saturday) – 10.25 crore
    Day 3 (Sunday) – 11.5 crore
    First Weekend – 31 crores
    Day 4 (Monday) – 4.5 crores
    Day 5 (Tuesday) – 5.5 crores
    Day 6 (Wednesday) – 6 crores
    Day 7 (Thursday) – 5 crores

The collection of movie may also went down due to the new releases Chakravyuh, Ajab Gazabb Love and Rush at Box-Office. While “Chakravyuh” released on Wednesday had very little impact on the movie but the release of other two movies “Ajab Gazabb Love” starring Jacky Bhagnani and “Rush” starring Emraan Hashmi releasing on this Friday may have an impact on the collections of Student Of The Year.
