Padmaavat release Stalled…
Padmaavat is a Hindi film inspired from the story of legendary Hindu Rajput queen Padmavati who performed jauhar in order to prevent herself from the ruler named Allauddin Khilji as he wanted to capture her.
The film is based on the epic poem Padmavat written by Malik Muhammad Jayasi in 1540.
As mentioned in Padmavat, Rani Padmavati was the wife of Rawal Ratan singh, Rajput ruler of Mewar. In 1303 Allaudin khilji, an aghani ruler from Delhi Sultanate invaded Chittor fort with a desire to capture Padmavati due to which Padmavati performed Jauhar alongside other woman to protect their honour.
Padmavati renamed as Padmaavat is going to be released 25th of January 2018.

Padmaavat was about to release on 1st December 2017 but due to several controversies, saying that the film is distorting the historical facts and duping with the valour of woman is intolerable. Hence the moving is now planned to released on 25th January 2018
